The Kinneret Council on Aging (KCOA) was founded in 1985 as a non-profit organization to provide programs and services to the residents of Kinneret Apartments. KCOA provides social activities and programming and offers residents onsite weekly exercise classes, cultural activities, and holiday celebrations. Residents receive critically needed grocery bags filled with food from Nanny and Papa’s Kitchen as well as a twice weekly continental breakfast. KCOA continues to expand its programs, most recently adding a food distribution program to offer Holiday meals to the Kinneret residents as well as low-income older adults in the greater Jewish community throughout the year.
The Mission of the Kinneret Council on Aging (KCOA) is to provide older adults with moderate incomes, on a non-profit basis, programs and services especially designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs. To contribute to their health, security, happiness and usefulness in longer living and create a warm and loving atmosphere designed to keep our cherished elderly in place and with pleasure and peace of mind in their later years.

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot.
KCOA provides Kinneret residents food services, social activities and programming.
