Our priority since 1967 has always been to look after our residents’ security, comfort and happiness through affordable, independent living. This commitment still rings true, even now as we transition to new ownership. With the support of our community, the Kinneret Board is excited to announce the properties have been acquired by Fairstead, an experienced and affordable housing owner focused on sustainable development and preservation.
With greater capacity for building rehabilitation, Fairstead will drive long-term success with renovation and modernization — all while keeping housing affordable for the residents.
As Fairstead invests in upgrading our buildings, the Kinneret Council on Aging remains committed to care for the vibrant and active community we’ve built since our founding. With the support of volunteers and donors, we will continue to provide residents with services our residents need and love, such as our food pantry and exercise programs, distribution of Kosher holiday meals and celebrations for Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
