KCOA funds the popular bi-monthly “Food Pantry'' which provides a grocery bag full of nourishing food to 175 of our residents at no cost to them. This allows them to cook a healthy meal in their own homes! Groceries include rice or pasta, canned goods, eggs, dairy, frozen meat, and fresh produce.
120 residents receive weekly distribution of fresh bread, salads, and baked goods.
Complimentary daily continental breakfast and coffee are provided in the dining room. The dining room remains open daily for residents to congregate for social activities, meals, and movies.
We offer onsite twice-weekly exercise classes, which provide residents the opportunity to exercise their minds, bodies, and souls. We also offer health and wellness education opportunities, including our yearly Health Fair held in late October.
We offer a variety of fun and engaging cultural activities such as live music and themed evenings. Celebration of Jewish holidays, Shabbat meals and our annual Seder remain an integral part of our programming to foster Jewish identity.
Distribution of Kosher holiday meals to all low-income Jewish seniors in the Central Florida community for Rosh Hashana, Hanukkah and Passover.
